I have been teaching exercise in various different leisure centres
and clubs within the Oxford area for the past eight years and have
always been interested in exercise and healthy living. In addition
I teach aqua aerobics and think exercising in water is beneficial
to all ages and abilities along with being fun and motivating.
Last year I qualified to teach seated exercise for the maturer mover
and currently work in five residential care homes and nursing homes
around Oxford.
This year I attended a course in Fitness Pilates and now teach two
times a week at the Thames Valley Strategic Health Authority and at
the Magdalen Centre at a lunchtime or in the evening after work along
with a class at a village hall in Islip.
I fully believe keeping active and maintaining a good healthy diet
keeps people positive, young at heart and builds self esteem and I
like to think I enhance peoples lives by helping them with their general
fitness and well being.
